TRANSSING

TRANSSING

Linking system of public transportation and micro-mobility (constant movement)

Saturated cities and the resulting congestion and lack of parking spaces are a global problem.
The advent of micro-mobility in urban areas has brought about many changes. Free rental and return are possible through the application, and you can conveniently move to an ambiguous distance that is too far to walk and close to using public transportation, so it is currently being used very actively in our city center. However, since there is no fixed rental/return location, it is easy to be left indiscriminately on the street or on the sidewalk, leading to various problems such as safety accidents. Also, for charging, there is a hassle in charging and managing, such as collecting and then redeploying again at the company.
Therefore, we are trying to find a way to link with micro-mobility management and public transportation.

Efficiently and safely store mobility so that it does not obstruct or endanger pedestrians by using a dedicated 'docking station' installed in an existing subway station, bus stop, or smart shelter, rather than mainly using 'free floating' that does not set a rental/return area, we present an infrastructure that manages and charges.
By linking BIS, etc. to the traffic information system, it is designed to check information such as the time it takes to get to the place of getting off while using public transportation, how many mobility units are available, and the amount of charge at a glance.
We present a seamless micro-mobility system that can be naturally connected to buses, trams, subways, and trains through connection with public transportation, no waiting time during the moving process, and an integrated mobility service with existing transportation methods.

The station design using a modular system makes it possible to accommodate/operate an appropriate number of mobility with an additional connection arrangement when there is a large floating population.
The compact design of the docking system combined with the trespassing fence minimizes obstruction to pedestrians, and it is possible to visually check whether there is mobility inside and how much is charged.
Micro-mobility has a folding structure for storage in the docking system, and various information such as driving speed, charging amount, distance and direction to the destination can be checked through an indicator linked to a smartphone.
The application design makes it easy for users to use mobility via simply scanning the QR code through a smartphone. It allows the users to see information regarding the number of remaining mobility units, the amount of charge at the transfer destination, the route to the destination, other transfer means, and the route from the departure point to the destination with a minimum walking distance.
