For sustainable relationships between people and people, people and society, people and the environment, and people and nature, forests that occupy 30.7% of the earth's surface cannot be excluded. Forests play a key role in food security and biodiversity conservation, but the destruction of dry land has resulted in desertification of 3.6 billion hectares, forest loss of 13 million hectares each year, and increase in global temperature by about 1.5°C over the last 100 years.
Earth is in danger. Deforestation hinders sustainable development and threatens human life. Therefore, we focused on the cycle of the natural environment to prevent the increase in global temperature, and set our eyes on trees, the key element of forests. Trees prevent desertification and soil degradation, reduce fine dust, and lower the temperature in the city. Planting and caring for trees require active participation and support.
The Hangang Park will eventually form a sustainable green environment in the urban environment through continuous management.
